Are you a Franchise?- No. Hungry Birds Edmonton is proudly family owned and operated.

What is the origin of the product? - We love to play in the kitchen! The best results make it onto our menu. Bringing together the best flavors from around the world and celebrating Canada's diversity is our true passion.

Does Hungry Birds only serve Healthy food? - We firmly believe that ALL food is healthy. Even dessert! Food enriches our minds, our bodies, and our hearts. Experiencing exciting flavors is an overall sensory adventure. For us, “healthy” means fresh, real ingredients. It means reducing chemical additives as much as possible, and it means knowing our product down to the last grain of spice.

I have allergies? - A common scenario for many Canadians today- especially the younger ones. Eating out should never be a game of roulette. We observe 100% transparency with our locally produced, sustainable, responsibly raised ingredients. We also offer Dairy and Gluten Free menu items, as well as Vegetarian options. Have a conversation with us. Your safety will always be more important than a sale.

Why Salads, Wraps, and Bowls?- Besides the taste factor? These main products allow for endless possibilities in being 100% customizable. Your dinner, your way. As we grow, so will our menu. But at our core we will always offer fast, flavorful, on the go options for today's busy Canadian.

Why is Hungry Birds closed on Sundays? - We work diligently to provide all of our staff with a healthy and positive Work/Life Balance. This day, when the kids are home from school, and most places are on limited hours, was a perfect day to give the gift of time. We love what we do, and we love the work culture we promote through example.

Is there seating in your restaurant? -Yes, we have recently renovated to create an atmosphere that is fresh and modern for our customers. We have been, to date, primarily busy with Take Out and Delivery Services, so seating is limited. As the need for this expands, so will we.

UPDATE: We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our followers. Your ongoing support has meant the world to us, and we'd like to wish you all a very happy holiday season! The New Year is bringing many changes for Hungry Birds as we work to further improve our service to our customers. We will be updating many of our platforms and systems.
